It’s just another day on Ko Phi Phi we are all just sitting or laying in the sun when my brother decides he needs to get something to eat NOW! So this wouldn’t be one of the best resorts when you couldn’t just call the staff and ask them to bring some food to your room. What Thomas didn’t realize is that Thai staff does not speak English well and by that I mean not at all! So not knowing anything about that he orders one burger to our room (number 30)! At the same time Kristin and I decide it’s time for our daily ice cream. Just two minutes after we get back the burger or let’s better say the burgerS arrive as well. Still not suspecting Thomas goes ahead and signs the bill without even looking at the price. Big mistake!! Next thing he opens up the food and finds not one but THREE burgers inside of it!! Someone in the restaurant must have confused part of our room number with the amount of burgers wanted. At least they didn’t bring the food to room one haha. The loving and caring siblings my sister and I are we each eat one of the burgers and now I’m here with an overload on calories and still a big dinner ahead! Thanks a lot bro!!
It’s one of the things in live you don’t give enough credit to. Nobody realizes how valuable a daily, weekly or really any routine is until you don’t have it anymore. You can probably compare it to a wonderful vacation or friendship that is taken for granted and is sucked up in our so busy lives. This can be one of the biggest mistakes you could possibly make. It is important to step back from life and just take a minute or two to realize what you have that makes your it unique an then try to never take it for granted again.
Being on vacation has always been a rough time for me ( how ironic right?). I just noticed a little while ago how much my life and my happiness depends on set routines. Only once I don’t have my routine of let’s say school or breakfast anymore I get mood swings and even a little depressed. When you are in a vacation as I am right now this is one of the biggest issues to deal with and it annoys the hell out of me! Lets face it who wants to be a mess on a beautiful island in Thailand? Right, no one!
Trying to get my shit sorted out again usually takes a couple of days especially combined with running which is my own special way of therapy:) but I’m not going to lie I like my daily routine and i wouldn’t give it up for anything!
